This tool was recognized by the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs for its operational efficiency, streamlining data entry and significantly improving processing speed. Established comprehensive product specifications and led cross-functional efforts to integrate advanced data analytics, facilitating quicker, more consistent adjudication of veterans' claims. Additionally, developed requirements and user stories for the "DBQ CM Tool," a next-generation platform for creating Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), which gather data on veterans' disabilities. Supported design and development efforts for automation tools that collectively saved the Department of Veterans Affairs millions of labor hours in disability claims processing.
Developed the concept, product specifications, and design for a digital therapeutic program supporting the recovery of Veteran patients with Substance Use Disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings for VA's Center for Compassionate Care Innovation (CCI). Led Amida’s work on a mobile platform and web portal that improved care access and engagement, focusing on tools for recovery monitoring, patient support, and predictive analytics. Oversaw the creation of user stories and guided the entire design, development, and deployment process for this critical VA initiative.
