Helped to complete a re-platform of the NetBenefits mobile application in a period of 6 months from a legacy tech stack to a more modern and robust set of technologies through large-scale refactoring and ground-up recreation of existing features

Transitioned from backbone.js to Ionic/Angular with NGRX for state management

Developed key components of a new Tax Center page to allow users to interact with their tax forms and receive valuable information on completing their taxes

Joined the Fidelity team that develops the NetBenefits mobile application, available on all iOS platforms and Android phones

Collaborated closely with other engineers to build out a Real Time Validation (RTV) backend for our mobile check-scanning feature in a period of three months

Created a plan to integrate iOS Native SKStoreReviewController API into our iOS mobile app as a Proof of Concept for prompting users for ratings

This feature was adopted and integrated into both the iOS and Android versions of the app

After the inclusion of a ratings prompt, our Apple App Store rating rose from 2.0 stars to its current 4.5 star rating in a period of 6 months

Connected Android Native and Web layers of the app via Apache Cordova in order to implement DAON biometric functionality for enhanced security

Built out new pages within the app for additional features including a settings page and a contact page with tap-to-call UI capabilities

Participated in Fidelity’s 5 month LEAP technical training program in the Software Engineering track

Received rigorous classroom training in fundamental software engineering skills including Object Oriented Design and Development, Java, JavaScript, Web Services, and Databases

Participated in an ongoing technical case study of an audit tracking system to apply the skills learned throughout the training by building a full stack application

Worked with Fidelity Pricing and Cash Management Services (FPCMS) group to re-platform a legacy Challenge Log application

The new application utilized an Angular.js 2.0 frontend web view backed by mid-tier Java and a SQL-accessible database on the backend

Implemented multi-parameter search functionality from drop-down menus using MyBatis and SQL for conditional querying logic and displayed results in CSS3 formatted table
