I helped scale an early-stage MarTech startup's product to drive rapid growth. Being both a SWE and PM I had the unique opportunity to have deep ownership in the product development process and learn the nuances of building beloved and valuable products. I led the development of multiple features 0 to 1 both independently (planning and implementing) and while leading a 3-4 person cross-functional team.
In my time time at Goldcast we:
•Grew from $0 revenue company to an $8M+ ARR company
•From 6 to 100+ employees
•From 0 to 200+ customers, including highly-reputable enterprises like Github, Toast, Adobe, LG, and many more
Day-to-day tasks:
•Developing front-end solutions in Vue.js, precisely converting design prototypes into clean UI/UX
•Debugging, writing test cases, conducting code reviews to ensure code quality
•Developing the backend of Goldcast's email and registration Microservices using Python
•Conducting customer interviews and market research to identify user needs and business opportunities
•Leading conversations with engineering colleagues to translate product visions into technical solutions
•Leading conversations with designers and conducting user tests to create high-fidelity UI/UX prototypes in Figma
•Conducting interviews with cross-functional colleagues and customers to identify user problems, accurately prioritize them on the product roadmap, and scope product requirements
•Preparing GTM teams for a new feature launch by working with marketers to craft compelling user narrative and educating sales and customer success colleagues on the feature and its value prop
•Writing SQL queries to monitor product KPIs (key performance indicators), and using insights to measure feature success and identify areas for improvement
•Consulting high-value customers who have requirements outside Goldcast's product offering, and executing custom solutions to ensure their satisfaction
