I currently work at Databricks on caching and load balancing systems for stateful services. Prior to Databricks I was at Google where I worked on similar things and also led the Slicer team (https://lnkd.in/gRNkRAHr). 

Before joining industry I was at Stanford for my PhD working with my (amazing) advisor Mendel Rosenblum. My PhD was in low-latency graph databases, but I also worked on a medley of topics in systems including including open source networking platforms (including both hardware and software), distributed internet censorship evasion techniques, low-latency storage systems, and RISC-V based ML accelerators.

 - Modified RISC-V Linux kernel port and Spike RISC-V simulator to boot latest Fedora Linux distribution.
 - Designed and implemented software unit tests for processor MMU in C and assembly.
 - Researched size, performance, and accuracy of currently available convolutional neural networks.
