Led development of a React data visualization web application for the Space Force that

enables satellite shield designers to make cost-effective decisions by simulating space

radiation. Completed a Phase I SBIR, secured follow-on funding of $750,000, and

managed a two-year effort by translating feedback into our roadmap and fostering

collaboration between physicists and software engineers.

Lead development and design of a desktop application for space radiation simulation. Led

and implemented performance improvements so scientists could iterate more quickly on

their research process. Led refactor initiatives to increase feature velocity

Ensured quality of calendar and conversation features for a multi-million dollar education

software product. Product used for appointment scheduling and conversations between

many user roles in a complex system. Performed feature-level testing and regression

testing before deployment to universities nationwide. Focused on well-documented tests,

code reviews, and user expectations.

Redesigned the user interface and optimized database queries for a customer support and

data analyst platform, resulting in quicker support calls. Customer support was a

differentiator, so this helped sustain the company’s competitive advantage.

Led the effort to make the Shipt app WCAG compliant. Improved accessibility for users

with disabilities by documenting and implementing best practices, and spending a lot of

time listening to screen readers on different operating systems to understand the

experience. This ensured equal access to grocery delivery for all users.

Upgraded and migrated large-sum payment system from legacy Paypal service to Braintree service
