Designed and developed new features for auto-stor product.
• Used REST APIs and visual C++ to design and migrate data across heterogeneous storages and cloud platform storages, such as Google Cloud, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure.
• Familiar with the configuration and operation of DELL EMC’s Elastic Cloud Storage.
• Worked with partner closely to make auto-stor work with partner’s storage device.
• Leaded a small team to maintain and implement the new feature to the product

Designed and developed company’s Information Lifecycle Management product(auto-stor), Microsoft Windows-based Remote Storage Management (RSM) software, for SAN and NAS storage systems.
• Implemented and maintained File Mover to migrate data across heterogeneous storage platforms, networks and operating systems.
• Familiar with the configuration and operation of Network Appliance’s Filer.
• Implemented and maintained file system filter driver for RSM product.
• Familiar with Unicode and internationalized auto-stor to run in Japanese locale.
• Used BounceChecker to detect the memory problems (i.e. memory leaks and memory overflows) running auto-stor and then corrected it.
• Designed and developed web-based user interface for auto-stor.
• Performed auto-stor integration test.

Designed and developed device drivers for devices running Windows CE, demo application for Windows CE base micro-display devices, and tested\verified the serial cable design for PDA devices.
• Utilized platform Builder 2.12 and 3.0 to develop device drivers.
• Used Microsoft Visual C++, MFC library, ActiveX control, DHTML, Jscript and Java Script to develop demo application.

Involved in a number of custom projects that developed and implemented software interface solutions for problems/requirements identified by the customers.
Projects delivered include:
1) Event Planner Plus Enhancement to allow for the use of ProtoViews database spreadsheet control feature and the MFC CRecordset class to enrich professional planner’s functionality.
2) Help Desk Calling Center’s Remedy Flashboards Enhancement to allow for direct data manipulation and analysis seamlessly via a commercially available statistics tool, and content visualization.
3) Palm Pilot Desktop Enhancement to allow for data synchronization and resynchronization between Personal Information Manager (PIM) on desktop PC and a Palm Pilot.
4) Conduit for Symantec ACT! To allow for direct interoperation between Symantec ACT! And a palm pilot device.
My responsibilities in the above projects included development, design, and maintenance using C++, VC++, MFC, Stingray Grid and Toolkits, Java Script, VB Script, COM, and ADO in Windows 95/98 and Windows NT.
