● Implemented and upgraded communications and basic functionality of multiple microservices. Including:

● Bottled, Zookeeper, Cassandra, REDIS, NGINX, uWSGI, PostgreSQL, Fabric, as well as several in house services.

● Worked with deployment and management of services on AWS for multiple backend components, and routing using DNS.

● Set up security using ciphers, routing, and placement of servers.

● Developed secure and functional API endpoints using REST for our video conferencing service.

● Developed API endpoints, server side models and algorithms to give irrigation advice to farmers by manipulating data gathered from proprietary sensors located on farms

● Built algorithm to track climate and other data to predict crop pest risk

● Wrote tests and automated jobs to alert admins of any abnormal or unexpected sensor data

● Created frontend user experience tools for farmers and agricultural researchers

● Developed mechanical engineering ideas and put them into action: rockets and robotics

● Tested Software written by Senior Technical Fellow and other software engineers

● Optimized programs and worked on parallelizing legacy software used at the time
