# Jonathan Yu > builder / shitposter / former baby Location: United States, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/jonathanyu1 Hey there! My name is Jonathan, and it's nice to meet you. I'm an outcome-focused technical leader. I'm at my best when I'm thinking in terms of sociotechnical systems, creating technical plans, and developing the next generation of engineering leaders. I like to, "lead from the front," and my technical skills are most closely aligned with backend, infrastructure, and security engineering. I've been working with computers since I was a curious teenager, but my interests and appetite for learning extend well beyond the purely technical. I believe that learning new skills changes the way we move through the world and magnifies our impact in it; we have the most positive results when applying things thoughtfully. For me, this means being eager to learn new skills, yet discerning about when to apply them. I'll spare you the list of programming languages, frameworks, and paradigms; I'm usually a quick study because of my broad curiosity and years of experience.
