# Jon Fulton > Design at Chime Location: Oakland, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/jonfulton ## Work Experience ### Principal Designer @ Chime Jan 2024 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area ### Design Manager @ Chime Jan 2020 – Jan 2025 | San Francisco, California, United States ### Principal Designer @ Chime Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | San Francisco, California ### Product Design Manager @ StubHub Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco, California My role as the Product Design Manager of StubHub's purchase journey includes both design team leadership with individual contribution responsibilities. My team of five is incredible, and they coach me every bit as much as I do as we grow together. Our approach is heavily focused on experimentation, bringing in methodology from Lean and Design Thinking to gain confidence in solutions as cheaply as possible. My work as an individual contributor supports an agile team of 20, building top of funnel experiences that move a global 5 billion dollar business forward. All work we do we cross-channel, with design solutions that align across our mobile web, desktop, and native apps. ### Senior Product Designer @ StubHub Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco Bay Area As a Senior Product Designer, I supported StubHub's international business strategy. Together, we consolidated 42 domains from a ticketing website we acquired. With two formerly independent design teams in different countries now married together, I quickly became a mediator, liaison, or ambassador to build trust and enable collaboration. In the end, StubHub is now a place you can browse and buy live event tickets from over 50 countries. ### Senior UX Designer @ Esurance Jan 2014 – Jan 2017 I strive to identify user needs and design solutions that create positive outcomes for our customers. I'm an advocate for strong cross-functional bonds across silos; I owe the success of my user-centered work at Esurance to teamwork that broke down walls and brought the best thinking to the table. My work on the e-commerce platform has brought gains to conversion, decreases to support calls, and new streams of revenue totaling over $60,000 a month. I served as the lead product designer on the new DIY Home Inspection app. Launched in Spring 2016, it's an industry first that allows users to complete their homeowner's inspection without needing to wait around for someone to show up or fax in paperwork. So far we've saved customers over $350,000 on their insurance by using the app to get a discount on their policy. In addition to DIY, I've also brought features and refinements to the Esurance Mobile app. User feedback and usage data guided each solution. I worked directly with developers to ensure that the customer's voice isn't lost during implementation. ### Lead Designer of New Business Acquisitions @ Delivery Agent Jan 2014 – Jan 2014 At Delivery Agent, I partnered with New Business and Product teams to prototype and execute branded solutions for our iTV, Advanced TV, and ShopTV platforms. Supporting a sales staff of 10, my duties included product design for the Samsung SmartTV and ShopTV app platforms, creative development of eCommerce experiences, and conceptualization and execution of high fidelity mockups and user flows showcasing capabilities. I created the visual design of Walmart’s first TV commerce presence on the ShopTV app, as well as interactive experiences for Reebok and Discovery Channel’s Shark Week that worked over live national TV broadcast. ### Senior Art Director @ FCB New York Jan 2012 – Jan 2013 | New York I worked on a team that bid for and won the Fidelity Investments account and then served as lead Art Director for Fidelity’s direct marketing and communications. My contributions to marketing campaigns saw increased engagement rates of 40% through more strategic and tailored messaging. Previously, I developed new business creative and digital interactive products for healthcare and consumer brands as a member of a creative ‘special ops’ team responsible for winning over 10 pieces of new business. ### Senior Graphic Designer @ Medicus International Jan 2009 – Jan 2012 | New York During my time at Medicus International, I created innovative digital and print medical education pieces for a range of clients including Abbott, EMD Serono, Pfizer, Sanofi, and Novartis Oncology. My accomplishments included creative development and user interface design of interactive iPad apps, trade show experiences, and websites that communicated pharmaceutical innovations to health care professionals. ### Design Director @ HX Magazine Jan 2008 – Jan 2009 | New York, NY I was design director for a weekly LGBT nightlife publication with a circulation of 50,000. Leading a team of production assistants, each week I directed 1-3 photo shoots, designed the cover and 4 feature stories, and retouched images and artwork for the ~100 page magazine. I also redesigned HX’s website and managed production of The New York Blade, a weekly LGBT newspaper, as well as three national expo campaigns. ### Art Director @ Brand Pharm Jan 2006 – Jan 2008 | New York, NY After a successful summer internship and being hired full time, I helped launch products including Differin 0.3 gel: creating marketing pieces, visual aids, and branded collateral. I also lead the rebrand of Tri-Luma Cream, repositioned to gain market presence in the high-end aesthetics market. My award-winning redesign of Brand Pharm’s site showcased our capabilities. ## Education ### User Experience Design in UX/UI General Assembly ### BS in Integrative Arts Penn State University ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/jonfultonsfo - Portfolio: http://www.jonathanfulton.com/ --- Source: https://flows.cv/jonfulton JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/jonfulton/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-13
