I'm a full-stack software engineer with 3 years of engineering experience and another 4 years inside a technical organization in engineering-adjacent roles, including teaching, management, and data analysis. As an engineer, I have two core values: maintainability and empathy. I obsess over reducing complexity and emphasize clear thinking in any problem domain, technical or otherwise, and I have a history of becoming a domain expert on systems that I touch. I think about the needs of end-users, both in how they interact with the product and how the product interacts with their lives. I especially love roles where I get to provide value to people I have a direct, ongoing relationship with, whether it's serving people on my team, users on other teams, or customers I get to talk to to understand their use cases and see the ways in which the solutions I build meet their needs.
