I extended and improved internal data collection web application for neuroscience research.

To do so, I collaborated with biologists to identify distinct small molecule screening workflows in the lab,

designed UI to collect relevant metadata for experiment planning, execution, and analysis.

I also designed and migrated database schema in order to integrate with external CDD system to

improve how small molecule structure data is captured and communicated to end users, and leveraged cloud-based data pipelines to make experiment planning and execution metadata

more accessible for developer users on the analysis team.

I leveraged data science workflows to investigate product performance and potential new features for the Watson Discovery search system, and implemented a backend feature to allow users to improve relevance by promoting specific results for natural language searches.

I also implemented a report to provide Watson Assistant customers with feedback about dialogue relevance, migrated and maintained an end-to-end test suite for Analytics feature to ensure reliability during infrastructure updates, and maintained infrastructure supporting machine learning features that are used to improve chatbot dialogue.

I was responsible for 56 students living in on-campus apartments - my main role was to facilitate and maintain a positive living community within the residential facilities through individual interactions, organization of group activities, and regular participation in routine activities such as room checks. I worked closely with other student staff members, as well as professional staff.

In order to promote postsecondary education to 4-8th graders, I collaborated with other Science Ambassadors from many different technical fields to design and deliver interactive STEM presentations about subjects including mantis shrimp, traumatic brain injuries, and forensics
