Frontend engineer embedded across Growth, Marketing, and Core Product, with ownership of Rula’s marketing surfaces, internal form systems, contractor teams, and frontend standards.
•Primary technical owner for the marketing website across two CMSs (WordPress → Storyblok) and two codebases (Gatsby → Next.js). Led frontend architecture decisions, deployment strategy, and Terraform configuration for the new marketing site while coordinating external contractors and internal stakeholders. Acted as the main point of continuity and quality control, preventing architectural and UX decisions that would have introduced long-term instability.
•Designed and built modular CMS-driven page systems enabling non-engineers to create and update pages without engineering support. This reduced time-to-publish, improved site consistency, and minimized regression risk from stakeholder edits.
•Owned and evolved iframe-based in-house forms used across Rula surfaces and partner integrations. Built frontend and supporting backend endpoints to improve reliability, flexibility, and developer ergonomics.
•Served as frontend and UX SME for engineers, product, design, and marketing. Regularly made judgment calls on frontend standards, libraries, and tradeoffs between speed, maintainability, SEO, accessibility, and UX.
•Identified and mitigated technical risks proactively, including under-planned projects, contractor questions, and AI-generated code defects before production impact. Maintained high review standards to protect codebase health during periods of limited oversight.
•Built an internal AI tool aggregating and summarizing proprietary mental health research for Sales and internal teams, replacing the need for expensive external tooling.
•Mentored engineers, interviewed and onboarded new hires, and acted as primary reviewer for critical frontend code paths.
