Overhauled cart client and cart related backend service deployment cycles from once a month to an on-demand deployment cycle by migrating existing cart Spring MVC/Java monolith codebase to a microservice oriented system using Spring Boot and Backbone.js.
Improved product sales creation process by implementing a new group sale schema that allowed more than one sale to be created at a time. Guided as well as assisted junior developers in developing tooling for marketing team to manage sale creation.
Increased revenue of items by implementing a price by attribute service and integrating into existing pricing services and succeeded a month ahead of schedule by having a new service using spring boot to increment/decrement the pricing of an item based off of its attributes (designer, brand etc.). Guided as well as assisted junior developers in developing tooling for marketing team to manage attribute prices.
Amplified revenue per visitor by developing a Java process to generate a daily feed of the companies product catalog and uploading to multiple ad vendors such as Google, Bloomreach and Adobe.
Collaborated with other research assistants in experimentation, testing
and exploration of network vulnerabilities common in home and public
routers.
Incorporated research by mapping these attack protocols against
routers via a remote server and mobile application.
Designed a layout for a commercial application for an end user to
explore vulnerabilities in nearby routers.
Developed new features to the calendar and photo book creation
applications.
Improved Customer experience in the calendar creation application by
working with product managers in developing an introductory tutorial,
highlighting key tools in the application and how to use them.
Incorporated a Javascript web socket library to implement data stream
between a mobile application and the desktop calendar creation
application. Data stream used to handle specific actions that would
control the state of the application via the mobile application such as
navigation control and layout changes.
