# Jordan Wiebe > Full Stack Software Developer Location: Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/jordanwiebe As a front-end and UI focused software developer with over three years in the industry, I am experienced in creating and maintaining professional and enterprise-level UI's and user experiences, as well as building full stack web apps from the ground up. I am proficient in Javascript, React, Node, AWS, SQL and more! I have converted complicated datasets and api's into easily accessible and understandable user interfaces, solved complicated front end defects and functionality challenges, and have designed and implemented powerful new features that increase app performance and/or increase value for the company or customer. I bring a calm and grounded attitude to my team with impending deadlines, staff shortages, or unexpected requirement changes! I have been on the ground floor of tech start ups as well as on development teams in established companies. When you invest time into building team relationships, connecting with others, realizing we are all humans trying our best to build a successful company, product, team, and culture...it pays off ten fold! I began my professional life in video production. My interest in video started early on when I picked up my dad's video camera to make movies with my siblings. As I got older I focused my passion for video into creating snowboarding films, and eventually I created a brand called So Far So Good, which inspired me to learn video editing and videography, brand development, social media management, design, and marketing. Over a few years I sharpened my skills enough to work for Go Video Go and Foursteps.io as video editor and video director, respectively. While working for Foursteps.io, a financial planning startup, I rose to the video director position where I was directly responsible for creating the company's video and motion graphic content for digital marketing. While I was employed at Go Video Go I created videos and motion graphics for companies like 97th Floor, GamerSensei and Boeing. I decided to add to my skillset by learning web development through DevMountain. With Covid-19 impacting hiring across industries, I wanted to make sure I had more than one viable skill under my belt. I have since created responsive full stack web applications from the ground up, both on my own and in a remote group setting. With all of this experience, I bring design, branding, and multi media implementation skills combined with powerful UI development experience to boost a startup or refine the web presence of already established companies. I look forward to working with you! Jordan ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ NICE Jan 2024 – Present | Salt Lake County, Utah, United States ### React Frontend Developer @ DeepSee.ai Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 - Using React, I planned, developed, built, enhanced and maintained multiple micro front end applications to provide financial institutions a professional and accessible user experience for interacting with machine learning models, providing user feedback and creating workflows to reduce risk in trading stocks. - Collaborated with team members and departments, both in the office and world wide, to solve complex defects and create robust new features using the Agile methodology. - Within a React framework, I designed and implemented a highly customizable flow chart UI and UX that gives users the power to inject document extractions from our machine learning model into complex calculations and processes to increase trade document review speed and reduce risk. This included a robust testing suite within the UI to give users assurance that their processes were safe and reliable before publishing. This gave the user a no-code solution for creating and implementing complex equations on extracted date, eliminating the need for hand-written Excel functions that were extremely difficult to debug and increasing the speed of product onboarding by 50%. - Worked directly with the machine learning team and its apis to create a seamless interaction between the React front end, the user experience and machine learning tools. - Designed and implemented new features inside React, written in Typescript, from concept - often without mockups or wireframes - to production code. ### Front End Developer @ BaseCamp Franchising Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 - Maintained UI and front end functionality with React and Javascript for Baseline, a point-of-sale app used by Kid-to-Kid and Uptown Cheapskate clothing stores. Baseline is built on a React front end and a Java backend. - Collaborated with team members, both in the office and remotely, to solve complex bugs and create new features on the front end and sometimes the back end. - Using Javascript and Google Sheets inside React, I designed and implemented a data feed for Baseline users that allowed Basecamp Corporate HQ and franchise owners to send real-time information updates to the Baseline app. This kept Baseline users up to date with current sales, events, bugs and service outages in real time, and eliminated the need for sending emails that were going mostly unread. - Integrated third-party customer loyalty api with the React front end for invoices and customer cards. This feature tracked loyalty points and coupon availability to enhance customer experience and sped up in-store checkouts. - Refactored entire React UI and source code to remove AntD and Kiwi component libraries, replacing them with Material UI components. - Designed and created brand new reusable UI components with Javascript and Typescript to be used throughout Baseline's repositories, streamlining development and debugging. - Refactored and rebuilt UI and workflow for receiving new products from vendors to maximize ease of use and correct bugs resulting from misuse of Redux. This provided store managers with more secure product data and a streamlined UX for ordering new product. ### Scale History SLC @ DevMountain Student Developers Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area In less than three weeks, I developed a fully responsive website from the ground up to allow players to register for tabletop wargaming events, chat with teammates and view their armies. - After registering for the website, players can register for events, after which they will receive an email with in depth event information.
