During my tenure as the Design Manager at Shippo, I oversaw all marketing and web design-related projects. In this capacity, I expanded the design team and assumed a second role of a web manager, leading a total of 14 individuals.
Notable accomplishments during this period include the commencing of a design system, encompassing a style guide, pattern library, and component library for our corporate site. This initiative ensured consistency, accessibility, and reusability across various projects.
To enhance user experience, I orchestrated the migration to a headless CMS, resulting in a improvement in the speed performance score from 34 to 99. This transition also facilitated the implementation of two-week sprint launches. Notably, I redesigned the navigation bar, yielding a 45% improvement in user comprehension and task completion. Additionally, I maintained the homepage, revitalized the blog section, introduced a learning center, and optimized pop-ups. These efforts significantly increased user engagement, improved SEO, and drove year-over-year growth in sign-up conversions.
