This is a continuation of my role at Recruiter.com/Nixxy, as the company underwent multiple rebrandings and name changes. As the sole engineer, I introduced agentic engineering practices to manage over 8 repositories and ship major site rebranding and features using agentic tools. Example projects:

* Model classification to assert categories. Data labeled via Gemma 1B running locally.

* AI Assistant Agent for company queries

* Legacy to Modern code migrations

* AI-assisted infrastructure cost reduction.

As a Lead Frontend Engineer, I was brought in to optimize and re-architect our Next.JS application, raising core vitals from 34 to a maximum of 90 and introducing Next.js best practices such as React Server Components, tailwindcss, and optimizing for AI Agents. Other projects include maintaining a PHP/Laravel event booth application and modernizing a Ruby on Rails course directory.

My responsibilities again took a turn as the company sold part of its AI technology and downscaled the team. As the sole Senior Software Engineer, I continued managing our apps and the infrastructure, delivering features, optimizing our infrastructure, and improving our engineering processes.

My responsibilities in Recruiter grew, and on top of managing both the application and infrastructure of one of their products, I also became an active engineer in several smaller teams working on different products and pieces of the same product.

My contributions include: implementing major architecture overhauls, optimizing infrastructure to help reduce costs by over $1k per month, creating lots of documentation and diagrams, implementing large features for the site, and providing lots of code reviews and guidance to other peers regarding best practices.

Because the teams and products were vast, I used many technologies, including Go, Ruby, C, Python, Typescript, and React. As for the infrastructure side, I managed our ansible deployment while contributing to our new terraform setup and implemented Docker environments and optimizations for development and production.

As a Senior Software Engineer, I maintained one of the Recruiter's products. The main application was built with Python and React, with a WordPress site and ansible to manage the infrastructure.
