At Genius Plaza, I collaborated with a talented team of engineers to develop an innovative EdTech platform aimed at transforming education for children and young adults worldwide. Initially focused on native Android development, I played a key role in building a secure, high-performance application using modern programming principles and the latest Android technologies. During a major rebuild, I transitioned to React Native, expanding my expertise in cross-platform development to enhance the app’s scalability and maintainability.

During my time at Pursuit my duties as a T.A. included grading assessment exams, homework, and in-class exercises. I assisted instructional staff in developing the curriculum that was to be taught throughout the course which included Java fundamentals and a variety of basic and advanced Android development topics. I also provided mentorship to students outside of the classroom.

At SmartThings I worked with a team to help build a user-friendly, hassle-free IoT platform. My role was focused on developing and testing new functionalities, and features on Android. I worked with some of the latest Android technologies including Dagger 2, reactive programming with RxKotlin and RxJava 2, unit testing, and continuous integration.
