I have over 7 years of experience working in application development and support. Currently, I am a software engineer at Availity, working on our Fusion data upcycling engine.

Previously, I was a software developer at Carilion Clinic, where I helped design and build a custom knowledge repository and toolbox application from the ground up, including integration with our computer-aided dispatch software, to support the non-stop, time-critical workflows of our patient transportation department.

Prior to that role, I worked as a help desk specialist, providing support for our electronic medical record (EMR) and over 400 other applications, while also working on custom software to improve our own workflows in-between phone calls.

When I'm not writing code, I enjoy spending time with my wife and pets, drinking coffee and playing video games. I'm also a huge roller coaster enthusiast, and love traveling to experience new ones!
