I started out working on the flagship Square Point of Sale app, building a wide variety of merchant-facing features as well as major infrastructural projects. As a member of the Developer Platform team, I built Square Reader SDK, which allows third-party developers to build apps that take payments using Square hardware. Developers have used this SDK to build everything from order-ahead kiosks to taxi meters to doctor's office check-in terminals, all leveraging Square's payment platform and business services.

I also did stints as an engineering manager on the e-commerce and Point of Sale teams, and for the last year and change, I was an IC on Cash App, working on their commerce initiatives and core functionality.

As one of three software engineers, I built the Evenly iPhone app from the ground up and developed new features for our Ruby on Rails backend.

Part of the engineering team on Mobile Learn and Mobile Central, Blackboard's flagship iOS products. Used by millions of college students all over the world, Mobile Learn was always an exciting challenge, and it was always rewarding to hear that Mobile Learn was by far our users' favorite part of the Blackboard ecosystem. I also was the primary engineer on a pilot project involving real-time feedback for classroom and auditorium use.

Made native iPhone and iPad apps, from initial modeling to final QA. Notable projects included DECODED by Jay-Z (Random House), Details Finder (Details Magazine), Eat This, Not That! the Game (Men's Health/Rodale), PrePlay Sports (PrePlay), and others. Used all different corners of the iOS SDK and integrated with a wide range of cloud services.
