Primarily worked on web and mobile applications for the G-Coin ecosystem. I also contributed frontend code to the Responsible Gold supply chain platform and mentored junior developers on software best practices.
G-Coin is a digital certificate of title to responsibly sourced gold that exists as an ERC-20 token on a private blockchain. More liquid than traditional assets and less volatile than unbacked cryptocurrencies, the tokens can be bought as an investment and moved easily to others to transfer wealth or make payments. G-Coin tokens can also be redeemed for physical gold.
During my time at Qenta/G-Coin, I had the pleasure of contributing on a wide variety of components:
architect and lead developer for both the iOS and Android mobile applications in React Native
lead frontend developer for the web based enterprise wallet in React
architect and lead developer for middle-tier service reconciling multiple backend microservices into a client facing GraphQL endpoint
Primary technologies used: Node.js, React.js, React Native, Redux.js, Apollo Server, Apollo Client, GraphQL, MySQL, CircleCI, Docker, AWS, Ethereum, web3.js, Nightwatch.js
