Hi I’m Joseph Lee, a software engineer at heart who loves creating, building, shipping, and innovating. My passion lies in designing systems that scale whether that means architecting distributed platforms, ensuring reliability at massive throughput, or pushing the boundaries of complex AI applications.

I believe scalability isn’t an afterthought, it’s something you bake into the design. From my experience building mission-critical software at IBM to founding multiple startups, I’ve seen firsthand how the right architecture and foresight can make or break a product’s future.

At IBM, I’ve held progressive roles spanning backend engineering, AI model deployment, and large-scale network automation. My work bridges distributed systems, reliability, and applied AI, with a focus on building scalable solutions across cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise software.

-  Deployed and maintained AI vision models (Detectron2, YOLOv3, Faster R-CNN, anomaly detection) into Maximo Visual Inspection using Java, Python, Go, C++, and OpenShift.
