Currently leading the machine learning team at Tutor Intelligence. Developing zero shot computer vision algorithms for grasping a large set of diverse objects in highly uncertain environments. Building cloud-hosted infrastructure to solve robot applications with demanding latency and throughout requirements.

Developed a novel algorithm to explain the decision-making of deep reinforcement learning agents to non-experts. Applied data mining methods to categorize and label behaviors of autonomous agents. Worked as the primary author, advised by Dr. Dongwon Lee and Dr. Sarra Alqahtani, to identify the research question, implement possible solutions, and write the manuscript. Invited to give a full presentation on this work at a conference. Currently working on additional projects for the same research group during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Led multiple research projects on topics surrounding deep learning, reinforcement learning, security, and explainable machine learning. Implemented machine learning projects from scratch and from literature using Python, Tensorflow, Pytorch, and other machine learning packages. Developed novel ideas for deep reinforcement learning algorithms through extensive literature reviews and creativity. Taught undergraduate and graduate students how to develop their own projects. Received multiple university and national level awards for research accomplishments. Advised by Dr. Sarra Alqahtani.
