• Full Stack software engineer for a variety of internal- and external-facing platforms supporting BCI research, manufacturing, company operations, and clinical trials. Experience with Ruby on Rails, python FastAPI, React/Typescript

• Infrastructure and systems administration, experience with AWS, GCP, Terraform, and other tools. Responsible for maintaining publicly-accessible web infrastructure in AWS and managing a wide range of on premises hardware.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, enabling reliable deployments and reducing manual operational overhead.

• Manage and support internal on-prem and hybrid infrastructure, including setup and operation of a Ceph storage cluster used for R&D data, corporate networking infrastructure, and kubernetes and clustered compute resources.

• Support IT operations as requested such as networking infrastructure management, certificate rotation, physical hardware installation, SaaS management.

• Lead team of IT Specialists across different geographic locations to ensure high response times and resolutions to end user requests for support, ranging from daily IT operations to long-term systems and infrastructure engineering projects.

• Manage lifecycle of user accounts across external IAM platforms including Google Workspace, Okta, and Microsoft’s Azure AD and on-prem AD. Write powershell scripts for AD management and python internal webapp for automated provisioning on other platforms through REST APIs.

Integrating and configuring SAML/SSO apps in a variety of IdP platforms (mentioned above).

• Work with interdisciplinary teams such as engineering, operations, security, soft sciences, etc…

• Deploy and administer multiple internal tools and applications to Kubernetes, including linking apps to external AWS RDS instances.

• Administer remote and virtual workstations through a variety of technologies including EC2, vSphere, RDP-enabled machines, VNC, MaaS and others.

• Systems administration experience across Windows, macOS, and Linux workstations and servers.

• Partner with vendors and contractors to manage inventory, complete onsite infrastructure projects, and evaluate and implement new SaaS solutions.

• Training and experience in both IT and military communication systems through classroom instruction, field training, and professional duties and responsibilities. Non-commissioned officer responsible for a varying number of soldiers from team- to squad-sized elements.

• Understanding of basic IT fundamentals, networking, and security controls to include building and initializing desktops, connecting multiple systems via a switch in a LAN, connecting peripheral devices and IP addressing, network and port scanning utilizing tools such as Nmap and Wireshark, and many other principles.

• Setup and maintain LANs for intra-team planning requirements including networking multiple workstations, NAS, and other networked devices for efficient collaboration.
