I'm a software engineer with a passion for creating products. Over my 15 year career as an SWE, I've had the opportunity to speak at a number of conferences on a wide variety of topics. I was a maintainer of one of the first Universal JS frameworks, and continue to drive performance in the web at Lyft. In the past I've created APIs that host 300,000+ concurrent users, developed mobile apps, and designed microservice architectures.

Today, I love to build products and help mentor developers.

- Tech Driver for Frontend Developer Experience, Infrastructure User Experience, and Frontend Library Teams
 - Defined team roadmap and plans, worked with management to ensure the plans were aligned with the company
- Designed and created several core systems for the web at Lyft
 - Created a web component library and sandbox to share components throughout the company, significantly reducing duplicate efforts
 - Created a metrics tracking system that automated tracking for web services
- Designed and created developer experience for the web at Lyft
 - Created a system called @lyft/service with plugins to allow developers to create new services in minutes rather than weeks
- Fostered web development culture.
 - Mentored engineers in tech and career growth, specifically helping senior engineers become staff
 - Started all-hands meeting to allow engineers to grow impact across orgs, presenting and cross-pollinating ideas
 - Created a Web-focused working group with VPs to define all Lyft web products, calibration of engineers, and technology alignment
