I’m a software engineer with a passion for optimizing software and workflows while providing a great user experience. I’ve spent the last six years building tools for data scientists to go from raw data to deploying models in under 24 hours. My previous contributions involve bringing IDEs to the web and crafting interactive experiences for music festival attendees. Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, Sass, and D3. When I'm not working, I spend most of my time living the dad life. After the kid is asleep, I enjoy making furniture, playing music, designing 3d models, and lately have bought into the world of VR.

- Employee #4, hired to build out front-end architecture. Due to a previous career in design, I also was the sole UX and marketing designer for the first 3 years
- Built custom charting library to support unique charts specific to healthcare data science
- Mocked, developed, and A/B tested our winning submission to the CMS AI Challenge ($1m prize)
- Developed custom React component library used across six applications (80+ components)
- Created 2 React Native apps – messaging app for clients and another for deploying our COVID-19 model
- Educated new hires with onboarding classes and wrote scripts to reduce setup time to minutes vs hours
- Mentored three front-end engineers, managed their sprints, and defined processes and style guide
