I use machines to prevent fraud.

At S1, I was responsible for redesigning much of the consumer product's web front end. I modified the software to be more maintainable and configurable while updating the technologies being used. Worked heavily with JSPs, Servlets, Struts, Tiles and EJBs. I was also responsible for training the company's other developers on the new methods being used.

Point5u is a small LLC based out of Atlanta with four owners. The four of us have been working together for a little over four years now in various jobs and capacities, and combined, we have about 30 years of experience in software.

The Aflac SRC is a department within Aflac responsible for finding and working with new technologies. We complete the initial stages of most projects brought to fruition within Aflac IT. Took part in three major projects:

Team developed a C# application responsible for generating forms to three different base systems. This project ultimately lowered the time to develop a form from 3000 man hours to 30.

Lead designer and developer for an innovative, database driven J2EE solution for real time event notification, which is currently patented. The system is based on Oracle and Websphere clusters. System uses subscriptions and filters to determine who receives which messages, and can send notifications via email, voice-mail and SMS. Handles an average of 20,000 business events a day. Responsibilities included Outlook-style web interface for setting up subscriptions/viewing notifications.
