I implemented user interface and systems architecture for an enterprise class application which handled full end-to-end deployment of digital media for multiple companies and languages. I used Visual Studio with Team Foundation Server and Team Systems extensively. Expression Blend and Expression Design were used as the primary software for development of the user interface and development of some UX concepts. I used MSSQL Management Studio for coordinating UI data needs with the data teams. Handholding of projects and knowledge transfer to a large off shore development team was standard for each night. User Interface Implementation and Creation – My responsibilities included implementation and creation of UI components from wireframes in Expression Blend and Design for Silverlight and creation of UX methodology. Third party packages of controls were used such as Telerik controls. Design Patterns – The implementation of the modules, controls, and business objects for the application would not be possible without very specific design patterns. MVVM and the Microsoft PRISM framework were used. We followed strict adherence to Microsoft standard coding practices and dictates in Visual Studio. Business Object and Rule Creation – I created new model objects and rules for handling these objects necessary for implementation of the UI. This included creation of the objects, facades to handle them, and integration with the models in usage already. Data Validation and Service Methodology – I used MSSQL Management Studio extensively for checking information and coordinating with the data teams to facilitate the necessary objects for the UI. WCF services were used extensively for obtaining the data necessary. Communication – I had to ensure the code we would hand hold off for each evening to the off shore team was of a high standard and documented to the fullest extent. This was to decrease the amount of mistakes, which could and did occur. ### UI Implementation, WPF / Silverlight UX developer @ William O'Neil + Co., Inc. Jan 2010 – Jan 2010 | Marina Del Rey, Ca. We used Agile Development across multiple coordinated teams to work iteration over iteration on the stories for the various modules. Our team consisted of multinational groups in multiple countries. User Interface Implementation and Creation – I implemented predesigned user interface systems using XAML, WPF, .NET 4.0, and C#. Taught team members how to use these systems and spread the capabilities around to enhance the entire teams understanding. Interfaces and Design Patterns – I created MVVM systems around the Microsoft PRISM framework and the associated Composite libraries. User control systems were being implemented through presentation layers and views. Controls were implemented using factory and facade methods. ### Software Engineer and Interface Implementation @ Paragon Services Jan 2009 – Jan 2010 | Las Vegas, Nv and Portland, Or I planned and implemented the user experience for Paragon products.
