I currently work as an IC technical lead / staff software engineer, making health benefits more accessible and affordable for companies of all sizes that use Gusto. 

The tech stack uses ruby on the backend, with graphQL and REST APIs for our network layer, and react and typescript on the frontend.

Engineers here at Gusto are product-oriented and product-focused. So my typical week usually consists of building new product features across the entire tech stack, while also leading or assisting in technical and product planning.
