I am an inter-disciplinary product designer and design engineer working at the intersection of design and technology.  I have been designing products and digital experiences for 15+ years. My work has reached millions and potentially billions of users at a global scale.

### Staff Experience Designer @ Airbnb

Lead Airbnb’s Design System (DLS). Shipped a flexible cross platform system in three offerings, iOS, Android and Web. Built with declarative UI in three separate languages (SwiftUI, JPC, React) to deliver a visually flexible and functionally rich system that empowered teams to build delightful product features.

Designed a cross platform screen architecture and scroll event system to power animation and scrolling behaviors. This made building screens easier for every engineer and brought consistency and delight across every product surface.

Lead design for Media Platform. Worked on our entire media infrastructure from upload through ingestion to Client presentation. 

Designed ML driven UI features with facial recognition to assist with profile image upload quality. 

Designed all video players and media presentation patterns.

Lead design and branding for Lava, a new micro animation media file type.

Lead the Design Prototyping program and built robust tooling in Origami to scale prototyping quality across the company.

Designed and prototyped a patented interaction pattern for Monthly Stay time selection. "The Dial"

Designed and prototyped a listing comparison pattern and map view counterpart to power multi stay booking.
