Hello! I am a Software Engineer with a deep passion for creating things.
To me, every project is a puzzle just waiting to solved and I love designing and executing every unique solution. To me, the beautiful thing about engineering is finding the simple solution to a complex problem. So as much as I love writing code, I may be more proud of the code that I DON'T have to write with the perfect design.
My expertise lies in JavaScript and TypeScript, crafting dynamic applications with React and engineering resilient back-end systems using Express.js. While I am most proficient in JS I also have experience with many other languages and technologies and am always learning something new.

What sets me apart is my ability to not only write efficient code but also to forge meaningful connections with the projects I'm involved in and the teams I collaborate with. In my previous role, after communicating with Developers and Solutions Architects from various departments, I spearheaded products that addressed and resolved critical problems with our product deployment. My commitment to excellence and my proactive approach have enabled me to contribute significantly to project success and I look forward to continuing that in my future endeavors 🚀

Some recent notable projects include: 
Backend engineer for stock analytics startup: Wrote from scratch and maintain a custum DB/API to track, analyze, and compare a growing database of stock symbols, using IEX and EOD APIs. 
Fullstack engineer for medical wellness startup: Created custom DB/API to track medical wellness data, as well as front end work in react/redux, implementing new features and bug fixing. 
Fullstack engineer creating microservices: Worked on a large codebase of a startup creating various microservices utilizing AirTable, Jotform, as well as several other services. At this job I worked with full React.js/Redux/TypeScript front end, to implement multiple new features, and Node/Express/Knex backend to create the supporting APIs, as well as debugging/improving old features across the stack.
