Software Developer | Bridging Security, Innovation, Creativity, and Collaboration
Software Developer specializing in scalable distributed systems, with a strong technical foundation in cybersecurity. Known for creative problem-solving, clear communication, and a continuous drive to learn and grow.
In my dynamic role within Northeastern's Academic Technology Services department, I enhance the educational experience for faculty and students through comprehensive support in instructional design. My key responsibilities include:
•
Facilitating Canvas training for faculty and staff, equipping them with essential tools and knowledge for an enriched teaching and learning experience.
•
Collaborating closely with Instructional Design Consultants to provide outstanding customer support for faculty and staff.
•
Editing and maintaining crucial documentation to streamline processes and ensure clarity in guidance.
•
Efficiently managing a queue of customer incidents and requests to guarantee timely resolutions and a seamless experience for end users.
In addition to these responsibilities, I have taken on an exciting Python-based project aimed at further improving course design on Canvas (educational technology interface). This project involves:
•
Developing a Python-based automation tool to apply Cidilabs-based HTML enhancements for Canvas courses, improving visual presentation and structural organization.
•
Implementing algorithms to enforce proper HTML heading order, identify and suggest alternatives for overwhelming media lists, and promote better course design.
This initiative not only streamlines course aesthetics and usability but also aligns with my passion for blending education with technology, contributing to the evolution of effective and engaging educational practices.
At Alkermes Q&C, I embraced the role of actively supporting the system manager for the corporate digital quality management system, leveraging my deep understanding of software and network design principles. Key accomplishments included:
•
Designing and implementing computer-based trainings for critical processes like CAPA, Lab Investigation, and Deviation, enhancing employee competency across the organization.
•
Drafting and meticulously proofreading official corporate system procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
•
Conducting thorough system testing and documentation validation, contributing to the overall reliability and efficiency of our systems.
Beyond these technical responsibilities, my time at Alkermes Q&C was also significant for personal and professional development. The nurturing environment fostered not only my technical skills but also emphasized the importance of effective communication and project management. This period was instrumental in achieving a healthier work-life balance, subtly reinforcing the value of mental well-being in tandem with professional growth. The experience has been pivotal in shaping a more resilient and adaptable approach to my career, ensuring I bring a well-rounded, holistic perspective to my work.
