Product launch engineer of a pharmacy startup that serves markets across the country, worked with them through a Series D and a $1b valuation.

Built the prototype and launch versions of our software including consumer website, Python (Django) backend server, Node services, and internal pharmacy web app in React. Experience with DevOps work using Terraform, AWS, and Prometheus for alerting. Used Celery with RabbitMQ and Redis as queue and caching backends.

Helped scale the company from hundreds to five thousands of orders a day in NYC alone using event-driven microservices and orchestration patterns.

Built an onboarding feature that sends SMS messages to customers as soon as the pharmacy receives a prescription, parses it, handles insurance, and notifies the pharmacy.

Mentored junior engineers about our stack, processes, and workflow. Helped with code reviews and spec reviews. Worked alongside product managers and stakeholders to ensure we built the right tools.

Focused on backend logistics and fulfillment work, working with the operations team to reduce expenses and touch time in the delivery by integrating a delivery software with our workflows. Currently handles almost tens of thousands of orders a day across the country.

Integrated our e-commerce and pharmacy workflows with automated pharmacy machinery that fulfills and packs medication automatically. Owned and developed the product from research to launch. It currently automates over 4,500 orders in NYC a day. Developed with Python and Django.
