Barracuda builds cloud-first SaaS solutions that protect businesses from a wide range of cybersecurity threats. I worked within the Email Protection team, designing for converged platform and onboarding initiatives aiming to simplify user workflow, increase new customer sell-through, and reduce churn.

• Improved customer activation by redesigning setup experience, which reduced completion time

• Implemented new interface design for flagship email protection tool. Spearheaded rollout plan along with cross-functional partners

• Led end-to-end design for new email feature that educates users on email threats. Shipped beta within 4 months and adopted by 4000+ accounts within the first month

• Conducted initial user research, identified UX opportunities, and influenced the product roadmap for data source and user management features within Barracuda’s data protection platform

• Spearheaded design and strategy for a unified audit log pattern which address inconsistent user experience and improved development efficiency for all Barracuda products

• Created utilization components in Figma to improve design team efficiency. Collaborated with the marketing team to support company-wide product logo redesign and rebrand

Canoe Map is an early-stage startup developing a voice-controlled mobile navigation app to make the driver experience safe and fun.

As the sole designer, I led the design vision and strategy. Collaborated with 4 founding developers to conduct generative research and deliver a voice activation feature, launched to ~100 beta users. Redesigned new features for voice recognition and an elevated design system.

UCSD Design Lab is a human-centered design research and academic institution founded by Don Norman. Under the Student Automation Team, I served as a student researcher on a contracted project with Ford.

I explored autonomous driving systems in real-world contexts through literature review, speculative design, and primary research. I also synthesize findings into diagrams on the visualization team.
