A Full-Stack Engineer who just really likes to make things. While I primarily work with Ruby on Rails, I've dabbled with loads of other languages like Scala, Rust, Elixir, Clojure and Dart. If I'm able to encounter difficult problems and solve them I'm in my happy place.
I was a Ruby on Rails Full-Stack Developer at this position. I was part of a team responsible for working with our customer banks using our platform where I developed new features and accommodated any specific requests they had.
I helped to port some Map-Reduce work being done on one of Amazon's services to an EMR cluster, using an assortment of AWS technologies to accomplish this task. I was also primarily responsible for the design of this pipeline, and made the final decision as to what design our team would be using going forward.
