Jan 2019 – Jan 2024 | San Francisco Bay Area Infinitus Systems (infinitus.ai) is a leading Voice AI Healthcare company – eliminating millions of human minutes spent on the phone to insurance companies every year. The company has attracted top-tier VC investment from Kleiner Perkins, Coatue, Google Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz. As the company's first full-time engineer, I was responsible for the frontend of the platform, taking it from 0 to 1. Initially focused on the React codebase, I helped to design, implement and extend all the features of the internal platform. Later on, I was the lead engineer at productizing the internal platform to resell it as the FastTrack product (https://www.infinitus.ai/resources/fasttrack-explainer-video). As the company grew, I took on leadership roles on both the Frontend and the Infrastructure teams. As part of the growth team I designed, implemented & measured a critical part of the onboarding experience (React, Node, Postgres/Redshift, Mode analytics). Through deep hooks into the codebase, I built an interactive tutorial to get new users into the product quickly, and teach them the fundamentals. Additionally, I helped design, implement and measure various growth experiments to reduce friction when onboarding individuals and their teammates into the product. www.coda.io ### Co-founder & CTO @ GroupAhead Jan 2013 – Jan 2017 | SOMA, San Francisco GroupAhead (https://groupahead.app/) was a YC-backed company that allowed private groups to create their own dedicated smartphone apps. The easy-to-use, single-purpose app focused solely on connecting an organization's members. As the technical co-founder, I built our stack from the ground up. We created a docker-based, multi-tenant Node.js/MongoDB backend (with custom orchestration) to reduce hosting costs, while still keeping our (over a thousand) apps securely sandboxed. Key technologies on the client included iOS & Android native code, Angular.js (with heavy use of Cordova for cross-platform code) and web technologies (such as websockets for realtime messaging). Using TeamCity as a frontend - we fully automated the app building/updating and deployment processes across both platforms. We also created a web-based admin system for group leaders to manage their apps, in addition to our .com website which allowed groups to craft their artwork & branding when onboarding. Built on top of AWS using EC2, S3, SNS, Elastic Transcoder for video, Lambda, etc. ### Senior Android UX designer (YouTube) @ Google Jan 2012 – Jan 2013 Design lead & prototyper for the native YouTube app on Android devices (phones & tablets). ### Senior User Interface Designer (YouTube) @ Google Jan 2011 – Jan 2012 | Paris, France Worked on assignment in the Paris office to provide the team with UX design & guidance, focused on search and discovery. Assisted with local hiring to grow the front-end engineering team. Was responsible for the design of the logged-out homepage on youtube.com, and influenced the overview layout for channels. Also took the lead on the UI design for algorithmically generated channels based on clustering videos of similar topics. ### Senior UI Designer (Google TV) @ Google Jan 2010 – Jan 2011 | Mountain View Joined the team to assist in the User Interface design for V2 of the Google TV platform. Built high-resolution interactive prototypes to explore & drive the team towards a new navigation model for the updated OS. Took the lead on the TV & Movies discovery app, bundled in V2 of Google TV. Managed an external design agency to produce high-quality polished graphics and create visual zeal. Assisted with front-end code implementation and the creating of assets for the production Android build. ### User Interface Designer (YouTube) @ Google Jan 2008 – Jan 2010 Interaction, Visual and User Interface design for YouTube.com as part of the UX team.
