Developed safety-critical, cloud-based software for an IoT product in the transportation industry. Major accomplishments include building custom backends for our two largest customers (and building them to ease scalability), creating the analytics systems that sales and customer support use on a daily basis, and developing new customer-facing alerting algorithms that improve safety and our clients' experience. We're a small team so over time I've had to wear many hats, and have gained a diversity of experience quickly.

I work on a couple IoT products in the trucking industry - particularly around tire monitoring and automatic inflation. Commonly use Python, MySQL, and AWS. I am also very experienced in reliability testing, test automation (often with LabVIEW), and being a really solid engineering Swiss army knife who can fill a lot of roles on an engineering team, whether they be mechanical, test, or software. This job responsibility/title change is part of an overall desire to make a career change into Software Engineering.

I design, execute and analyze the tests that prove our product is reliable and functions correctly. I manage the lab and the people in it to ensure we accomplish this.

I'm versed in accelerated life testing, root cause analysis, designing experiments and building test fixtures, and also a variety of tools like LabVIEW (CLD), Reliasoft, Matlab and more.
