Integrated Niantic’s VPS SDK into our app to leverage persistent AR experiences between sessions. Improved gameplay on various in-app minigames as well as overall app feel. Designed and implemented a 3D model auto-cropping algorithm using octrees and ray-casting ### Software Engineer @ Wevr Jan 2020 – Jan 2022 | Greater Los Angeles Area Worked as a team to develop two multiplayer virtual reality games. Designed and implemented an in game panel with performance metrics for the virtual reality experiences. Leveraged and modified UE4’s UMG and Statistic systems to display dynamically changing debug information. Developed object pooling for increased efficiency and performance of the different experiences. Designed scripts to optimize the compilation and build processes, as well as the distribution of the applications to different machines ### Software Engineering Intern @ Orange Silicon Valley Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco Bay Area Designed and implemented an augmented reality native and web application with facial recognition capabilities. Wrote native application in Unity/C# and web application in HTML/Javascript. Deployed an AWS server for communication between the native or web application and the AWS Rekognition service. Met with various companies to discuss proof of concepts and test various products. ### Lab Intern @ UC Berkeley College of Engineering Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 Ran electrochemical experiments on carbon steel samples in order to measure corrosion and pitting rates of the sample when immersed in different solutions.
