Prior to Carta, I was hired early 3rd designer at a Y-combinator company called Snapdocs, leading product design on the consumer and settlement teams, helped scale the design team by 5x, spearheaded the creation of their first design system, and led design strategy on the creation of a new product called settlement orders. 

I also led group coaching sessions and workshops about influencing strategy as a product designer at RETHINK. RETHINK is a knowledge-sharing community of over 10,000+ highly-skilled product designers, design managers, and design directors coming together to help each other navigate challenges and become impactful leaders.

### Product Designer @ Snapdocs

Snapdocs is a YC unicorn that develops modern software that leverages AI/ML to streamline the mortgage process. Snapdocs supports 1 in 4 U.S. mortgage transactions.

• Led design and strategy on the settlement and consumer teams at Snapdocs and shipped multiple, high-impact projects as the company scaled from 100 to 600 employees and reached unicorn status (1.5B valuation). My projects led to a increase of mortgage closing success rate by 26%.
• Led design strategy and research on formation of a new business line/product at snapdocs called Settlement orders to find product market fit.
• Helped lead the creation Snapdocs first design system, Thunderbeak, used by all designers and their developers on their teams
• Helped hire to grow the design organization by 5x (3->15 person design team) through interviews and onboarding
• Improve hiring processes as we scaled by helping create Snapdocs' first design portfolio review rubric, create the portfolio review and whiteboarding sessions to hire our first UX Researcher
• Spearheaded and led the transition of design tooling from Sketch and Zeplin to Figma. Led workshops on how to use Figma to developers, designers, and PMs across the whole organization
• Evangelized user research at Snapdocs by driving the establishment of the first UX research repository in Dovetail and gave talks about how I leverage data to inform my design decisions
