Snapdocs supports 1 in 4 U.S. mortgage transactions. • Led design and strategy on the settlement and consumer teams at Snapdocs and shipped multiple, high-impact projects as the company scaled from 100 to 600 employees and reached unicorn status (1.5B valuation). My projects led to a increase of mortgage closing success rate by 26%. • Led design strategy and research on formation of a new business line/product at snapdocs called Settlement orders to find product market fit. • Helped lead the creation Snapdocs first design system, Thunderbeak, used by all designers and their developers on their teams • Helped hire to grow the design organization by 5x (3->15 person design team) through interviews and onboarding • Improve hiring processes as we scaled by helping create Snapdocs' first design portfolio review rubric, create the portfolio review and whiteboarding sessions to hire our first UX Researcher • Spearheaded and led the transition of design tooling from Sketch and Zeplin to Figma.
