I started developing enterprise Java and Android applications in the same year. I've worked as part of distributed systems around the globe and collaborated in plenty of multi-discipline projects. Team work has been a must in most of all developed applications. I've led different teams and have taken products from an idea through development and successfully into production. From 2009 to October 2014 I actively participated in over 45 projects for third party enterprises and clients. Many of the resulting Android apps reached well over 1 million downloads on the Play Store. Starting 2015, I had the chance of joining Vivoom, Inc. as a senior engineer and get an Android app ready for production in 3 months to run campaigns for massive audiences such as the Today Show & Selena Gomez fans and Cheerios among many others. After the first year at the company I started working on several other projects involving the frontend, backend and infrastructure, resulting in increased ownership of the codebase. Wearing multiple hats in a startup has provided several meaningful experiences and opportunities to increase my knowledge about highly-available scalable and resilient distributed systems, in addition to the full lifecycle of a product. Starting November 2019, I joined Netflix as a Senior Software engineer to help make an impact in the Content Acquisition division. I love doing sports and dancing. I consider myself open-minded and take plenty of time to select my closest friends. Goals for a happy life: keep family and friends close... and let me write some code!
