• Built platform team and led the team on system software in 7 generations of FireTV stick, multiple FireTV cubes, and Echo Show 15:

*Product prototyping, architecture design, HW on-boarding to Fire OS and platform bring-up (booting to launcher, wifi/bt, audio/video, etc)

*Factory provision (secure boot, DRM and HDCP keys) and build support

*Software development for bootloader, Linux kernel and device drivers, various OS HALs, audio and display pipelines, subsystem integration of DSP, ISP/Camera, CV, Alexa, etc

*System tuning including memory, performance and power/thermal optimization

*Product support including end consumers and Amazon star reviews

• Led various product initiatives, including FireTV auto projects with multiple car manufacturers and OEMs, FireTV soundbar with external partner

• Managed Fire phone sensor and power teams

• Development of Android mobile platform using lightweight virtualization technology

• Managed BSP team, responsible for RTOS/Linux BSP and device driver software for Broadcom’s mobile baseband chips

• Led the mobile reference design using third party baseband and Sirific RF
