• Designed and implemented a core Infrastructure API, an authoritative data repository having: 1)  MySQL DB, Spring MVC-based Secure REST API, and Spring MVC-based infrastructure tools.
• Designed Resource Allocation Tool in Java, which significantly reduced complexity and variance from production for web application provisioning. Reduced time cost of a highly repetitive task from 6hr to 5m.
• Developed libraries for representing environment data as objects. This allowed for standardization and reuse of code for other tools.
• Using above libraries designed and maintained infrastructure code for web provisioning, application server provisioning and dynamic production documentation service. This extended the capability of the team to rapidly provision and deploy code to the production environment, as well as get real-time information about any application instance. This was a big time savings to the company.
• Extensive knowledge supporting three-tier Java web applications using Apache, Tomcat/Resin/Glassfish and Oracle.
• Debugged Java source-code in review/production by using Remote, LOG4J, and by adding debug code to source.
• Designed, planned and executed Jenkins migration to AWS, enabling Java application builds to function in the cloud on a large scale. This also required in-depth Java expertise and debugging skills.
