Earner Growth: Access Platform

• Designed a new feature to enable Operations Agents to configure dynamic onboarding funnels for KYC-enforced markets. Decreased the number of onboarding funnels needed from an average of 3 to 1, per market.

• Designed an event-driven orchestration workflow which surfaced in-app messages and emails to Earners who experienced failures during onboarding.

• Team representative in Org-wide Engineering Excellence virtual team; lead projects: to increase our endpoint SLAs (availability/latency) from an average of 85% adherence to 100% adherence, decreased our Time-To-Detection for incidents/outages from 3+ hours to <1 hour, and decreased alerts from 10+ to <10 on a weekly average.

• Created and instilled team processes/standards for feature testing, oncall runbooks, inbound ticket management, and team wiki maintenance.

• Started a book club with other engineers where we read the following books: The Lean Startup, Domain Driven Design, How to Measure Anything, and Grokking Streaming Systems.

Earner Compliance: Documents Platform

• Lead multiple projects critical maintaining our working license in one of our most regulated markets. Included updates to existing features, design of new features, cross-function collaboration with Product and Operations, and meetings/presentations with the regulators themselves.

• Re-designed the backend data models and architecture of our primary tool used by hundreds of Operations Agents (globally) to collect information from document images. Improved the granularity in-which processing queues could be created, enabled higher-fidelity metrics to be used by Operations Managers for improved staffing and queue management, improved auditability of processing tasks, and decreased the development friction for engineers.

• Helped re-build the team from 3 engineers in 1 city to 10 engineers across 2 cities. Created and standardized our team onboarding process and knowledge share, mentored 3 engineers directly, and was the primary stakeholder for certain areas of our team's domain.

• Started a bookclub with other engineers where we read the following books: Designing Data Intensive Applications, Release It!, and Thanks for the Feedback.

Earner Compliance: Documents Platform

• Designed and built an updated internal tool to enable Operations Agents to backfill internal data. Included frontend/backend, API development, data validation and normalization, auditability, CSV parsing, and email notifications. Increased throughput by 30x and saved Operations Agents about 5 hours of manual work per week, per person.

• Planned and lead personalized escorts for 5+ VIP/NFL team owner groups during Super Bowl 50.

• Coordinated with U.S. Secret Service to plan and provide security details for President Obama.

• Lead regularly occurring protection details for 10+ NBA teams through the NBA regular season and playoffs.
