I'm an interdisciplinary researcher, technologist, and educator with over 20 years of experience focusing on human-centered design in the worlds of entertainment, education, health, and wellness. My work draws heavily on a commitment to curiosity and understanding when approaching systemic problems, human need, accessibility, and equity.
 
I have a master’s degree from New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) where I was awarded a departmental fellowship for research in community dynamics in the arts. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Philosophy with a focus on cognitive science and human experience. 
 
I have taught courses at the graduate and undergraduate level and have been featured as a guest speaker at New York University, Columbia University, Tulane University, and the University of Alabama, as well as facilitating public and private workshops for all ages nationally and internationally.
