Currently, I work with Deepmind’s centralized UX team to prototype and build new interaction patterns on the frontiers of AI and technological breakthroughs.

While in Google Research, I worked with research scientists across knowledge

domains to solve user challenges in Google’s advanced R&D projects. My team prototyped within emerging, ambiguous spaces like LLM-generated user interfaces, AI-powered creativity tools for musicians, and quantum computing.

When I first joined Google, I was part of a talented team of User Experience Engineers that built cool stuff for cloud.google.com, from demos of Google's machine learning APIs to component libraries and living design systems. As with everyone at Google, my side hustle was learning everything I could about emerging technologies in artificial intelligence, the internet of things, and new innovations in front-end technology.

I lead a small team of design technologists that thinks about design at scale. We're in the process of building component libraries, style guides, and UX tooling that will help us create and maintain a best-in-class design system for enterprise SaaS (and millions of users), and push Medallia's product to be more beautiful, user-centered, and fully accessible to users who use assistive technology.

I was lucky to have led the best, brightest team at Opower—a group of designers, content strategists, and front-end engineers who are responsible for Opower's design system. Under my leadership, we built Opattern—a front-end framework and style guide—so that the UX team's work could scale across a diverse set of products, and we work across UX and Engineering to turn design specs into accessible, responsive, and customizable products. I'm a huge cheerleader for operating front-end engineering from within our design organization, and my team at Opower was an industry model for doing exactly that with huge success!
