Designed a Java program that automates confocal microscopy to facilitate cancer research. This program removed the need for a human operator in experiments that last from several hours to days. This frees up several working hours that the operator can instead use to design other experiments as well as removing human error as a factor in any potential experimental errors involving the microscope, saving more time and producing more accurate data.
