Led a team of designers and researchers to change the core shopping experience on Tiktok and make it relevant to the US audience. Streamlined design ops- setting processes in place for intake, review and design execution. Mentored and hired designers to grow and strengthen the team. ### Staff Product Designer - WhatsApp @ Meta Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 | Seattle, Washington, United States As a Staff Product Designer, I led design efforts for building Marketing messages on WhatsApp’s SMB app, which enabled small businesses across the globe to be able to send personalized messages to their customers. ### Staff Product Designer - Facebook @ Meta Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | Seattle, Washington, United States I led design for growth tools supporting Facebook Communities, building 0-to-1 products, and features for Facebook group admins and members. Strategies I developed and executed resulted in a 14% increase in the creation and activation of FB groups. Specifically, I: · Led design for the Web Experiences Team (WXT)’s mobile platform, the Microsoft Start app · Envisioned and contributed to the future of the Microsoft Bing and Microsoft News apps · Led design for Microsoft Rewards and Bing Rebates programs, as well as the overall Bing Rebates experience and unique Rewards experiences like Give with Bing · Oversaw growth initiatives including the user engagement platform and Bing Knows ### User Experience Designer @ Microsoft Jan 2014 – Jan 2016 | Hyderabad Area, India In my first role with Microsoft, I was instrumental in designing important features for Bing, including the Bing Map Builder, Bing Core Content, and Bing Places for Business. In particular, I: · Designed a UGC-based tool to help Bing collect fresh local data for its map canvas. I also designed the webtool and Android app for Map Builder. · Refreshed Bing’s visual design and designed answers for segments including Sports, Health, Elections, and more. · Redesigned Bing Places for Business Portal, which was used by moderators and business owners to create and manage their online business profile on Bing. ### Manager UX/UI Design @ Times Internet Limited Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 I led a number of key projects for Times Internet; some of my key achievements include: Times City app for Windows Phone: I designed the Windows Phone app for India’s leading news portal. I was also responsible for interaction and visual design for this hyperlocal app, allowing users to browse movie listings, restaurants, drinks, and events in their city. Book a Table: I designed UX flows for users to make restaurant reservations via the Times City app on iOS, Android, and Windows. User Profiles: For user profiles across the Times City ecosystem, I redesigned the reputation system and designed and illustrated user accomplishment badges. ### Graphic Designer @ THE BRANDWEAVERS Jan 2010 – Jan 2011 | Delhi, India As a Graphic Designer, I designed advertising and marketing collateral for several Indian and international brands including Microsoft, Cisco, JSW, and more. ### Design Intern @ Reebok Jan 2010 – Jan 2010 | Gurgaon, Haryana, India During my internship with Reebok, I worked on packaging design for Reebok’s inaugural personal care collection (body wash, deodorants, EDTs, and aftershave), including individual units and gift boxes.
