In my new role, I am managing the new Design Systems team as well as leading design system efforts across the developer division including work in-product and across our marketing sites. In addition to my role as manager, I am also the design lead for our Visual Studio design system efforts.

As a Designer 2, I have worked on UX design, systems design, and brand design. I started this role focused on UX design for developer services in the Azure portal and designing extensions for Visual Studio Code. I then transitioned to working on a design system for VS Code extension creators to utilize while creating webviews within their extensions. After building a foundation for that system, I focused on brand identity and visual design systems, focusing on the Visual Studio product family. In Summer 2022, I became a systems design lead focusing on both in-product UI and marking design systems.
