Software Engineer and creator, focused on building infrastructure and tools that empower other developers. 

My background in fine arts as well as product and DevOps engineering has given me a unique perspective in my role — I excel at solving knotty technical and development process problems with creativity and empathy. 

I enjoy designing and building out systems big and small, and have a particular interest in system resiliency and maintainability. 

In my current role I’m designing and building out a brand new internal development platform at Etsy. This platform will power the future of service development on GCP for Etsy engineers, providing a paved path for services outside of Etsy’s monolith. 

Lately I’m writing mostly Go and Node.JS/TypeScript; less recently I’ve dabbled in C++, Python, and Java.
