I am a Software Developer in Test living in Redwood City with professional experience working at both startups and larger companies. I have a lot of experience working in Java, Python, and JavaScript (Node.js) to create automated tests and build supporting software services. I'm passionate about quality engineering—particularly designing test infrastructure and test architecture that scale. I find writing tests to be one of the most interesting ways to code, because it challenges me to approach problems from a different perspective.

I am currently employed at Raya the app where I am working to build out automated testing for our backend services. 

Before working at Raya, I was employed by Twitter, where I own a tool used by over 130 tests for checking if promoted events (i.e. promoted cards on the twitter timeline) fire properly in the backend. 

Previously I worked at DriveScale, a startup focusing on composable storage. There, I created and managed the automated test suite, built automated test tools, created and managed CI jobs through jenkins, and worked with developers to assure quality of the drivescale

In my free time, I love doing outdoor activities. I’m out just about every weekend walking in the woods and I make sure to go camping and backpacking a few times each year! I can identify almost every plant in the Bay Area.
