As the lead content designer for Instagram Friending Experiences I work with design and product partners to build roadmaps, define success metrics, and design intuitive features that help people connect with others.

I was part of the founding design team for TikTok Shop in the US, working to design shopping features that are simple and easy to understand. My primary responsibilities included:

• Driving high-quality content design in a rapid, dynamic work environment

• Aligning with product and design teams across timezones to craft a cohesive product narrative

• Participating in design and content critiques to promote consistency and improve quality

• Helping craft new voice, tone, and content standards as part of the US TikTok Shop launch

I was the Content Design lead for Instagram Brand Experiences, designing features to increase sentiment metrics through features like Instagram's end of year Recap Reels templates. I also helped govern the promotional channels Instagram teams used to communicate with users, providing guidance on channel usage, targeting, content standards, and more.

My passion was data-driven optimization, usability, and taking an ecosystem approach to content strategy. I'm adept at navigating legal, privacy, and policy requirements while working cross-functionally with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers.

I was also a lead for Instagram's voice and tone, helping to create standards and scalable frameworks for all product teams. I worked with others to ensure Instagram's voice guidelines were clear and effectively reflected our brand ethos across the app.

I was a lead Content Designer on products like Facebook Dating, Lift Black Voices, Shops, and Marketplace while working on the Facebook app at Meta. I collaborated closely with eng, product design, data science, and user research to identify and design the most impactful solutions to high-priority problems.

I worked on a wide range of launches, delivering end-to-end product flows, notifications, promotions, IA, taxonomy, localization, accessibility, product principles, A/B testing plans, and contributed to Meta-wide content standards.

I'm most proud of the work I drove for building equitable and inclusive products across Meta, and have been sought out as a speaker on this topic for conferences, workshops, and summits.

I supported a global team of Content Strategists for LinkedIn's Help Center product. I strengthened the team’s cross-functional partnerships by implementing scalable programs and initiatives that improved content quality, increased data-driven strategy, and promoted better UX integrations.

I helped pioneer new content standards across multiple products and evangelized the impact of content strategy across the company to grow the team's influence and show our business impact through lifts in top-line metrics.

I also set the team up for success during a multi-quarter transition to a new Content Management System, promoting positive change management during a massive overhaul to our taxonomy and IA.
